Gary L (Weaver) Trisdale of Blair, NE passed away at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on Friday, May 15, 2015 due to complications of cancer. He was born May 24, 1949 to William Smith Trisdale & Margaret Rose Stricklett Trisdale in Blair, NE. He grew up in the ‘Dogtown” section of Blair & always enjoyed his childhood memories of those times.
He graduated from Blair High School in 1967. He married (Ellen) Kaye Phelps on June 24, 1972 in Decatur, NE. They made their home in Blair where they raised their 3 children, Dan, Carly & Bailey.
Gary loved music & always whistled along with his favorite tunes. He gave many whistling lessons to his grandchildren, which produced happy memories for him & them. Gary gave everyone (no one was excluded) a hard time. He was never happier than when the people around him were giving it back to him. He loved to laugh & was always ready with a joke or a smart comment.
He worked for Western Sand & Gravel in Fremont & Ashland for 32 years. For a good share of that time he ran their maintenance shop in Ashland.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kaye, son Dan Trisdale & fiancé Aimee Dill, daughter Bailey Trisdale, grandchildren Christian, Brad, Armando, Jr., Zia, Seagan, Sofia, Somaya, Kaitlyn, Kaileigh & Kennedy, sisters-in-law Beth Phelps, Judy Phelps, Cindy Trisdale & Linda Trisdale, nephews Cody & Shad Trisdale, & nieces Rachel & April Trisdale, many cousins & family friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, May 21 at Campbell-Aman Mortuary. Funeral services will be Friday, May 22 at 2:00 at Campbell-Aman Mortuary, Blair.
